From the Grave

I am disturbed from my sleep by loved one’s cries

I thought I told you no one ever really dies

Listening to all the lies these relics play

Theories on why I chose not to stay

Even in death I am made to be someone I’m not

But behold I am here with every memory you forgot

Your sins against me are written on my chest

You cowards who refuse to let my soul rest

The few who knew me hesitate to clear my name

Only one defends me without condemnation or shame

Blessed it be that rebel for you have honored me

Blessed it be the brother who silences all my enemies
