And there you were

Sometimes a man wonders
Here and there, to and fro
With no heart to call home
Nowhere for his love to go

Then in the desert of places
In the most hopeless of lands
The Almighty takes pity
And extends His generous hand

And with no warning or notice
Hope appears again
Everything the man ever wanted
Is standing there as a woman
