There was this one time I met this girl
It wasn’t on purpose or planned
She was pretty, beautiful, blue eye, and gorgeous
And rightfully so many men wanted her hand
But I just wanted her to see me
I just wanted her praise and attention
And to my surprise she gave it to me
For no reason at all we had the longest conversation
It went on for hours, then days, then weeks
I ended up telling her everything about me
She never ran, hid, or decided to say goodbye
She stayed, she cared, she made me happy
But eventually my insecurities got the best of me
I started accusing her of not really caring and being numb
I disregarded everything she’d done just for me
And became the reason why women know men are dumb
