The Rejected

Do not cry for me at the church

Do not weep for me at the cemetery

But let my soul pass on in peace

Let my spirit be carried away by wind from the east

For who fought for me when trouble found me

Who came to save me in my time of misery

Which one of you came to break my chains

Who came to plead for me and set me free

For I was raised in rejection and pain

Brought up being called the devil and insane
