The Eulogy

Today an unknown legend is laid to rest

Many call him the worst and few the best

A poet for the ages and the rebel of today

Many grieve but he had no intention to stay

He served his purpose regardless of the stories

Now he’s gone to glory despite all the worries

Sometimes fools live and gods die

Sometimes there’s no explanation or reason why

But no one is ever truly gone

No right can ever cancel out a wrong

But at least his struggles are no more, he’s finally free

What difference does it make if he turned out to be me
