One-Sided Woman

When we met I made a deal with you and your heart
I promised to be like what you lost, a fresh start
In return, you promised to be different from all the ones before
You told me I wouldn’t have to be alone anymore
Then shit it hit the fan and you started actin’ light skin
All deals were off and I was alone yet again
Since then it’s been the same old lies and song
You give a word you won’t keep and I end up apologizing for you bein’ wrong
