How many times have you gone back on your word
How many times have you left me all alone
In the end, you weren’t that much different from them
Yet you all wonder why I’ve gone home

How many times did you tell me how you really feel
How many times did I beg you to do just a little more
In the end, not even you could get over yourself
Yet you all wonder why I’m not here anymore

How many times did I tell you my life had no future
How many times did I tell you my fate was sealed
In the end, it turns out I wasn’t lying after all
Yet you all wonder why these were the cards My Life dealed
