A great pride dwells within your small breast
Your blonde or brunette hair requires praise
Compliments of your beauty will be found before you rest
Lest your mediocrity haunt all your days
A glance a second too long convinces you
That there must be an unspoken desire
God forbid any other possibility be true
So anyone who denies is certainly a liar
And we dare not blame your white entitlement
Society’s praise of you is ridiculous and irrelevant
The horse you ride so high is only by accident
Yet you won’t accept the reality of not being heaven sent
For in this world you are one of a kind
The black and brown could never compare
Regardless of the insecurities carved in your mind
But who are we to say such thoughts live there
I love this.
Thank you
