Out

Under the influence to get over me
Trying your best to forget how we used to be
Smoking to keep the room from spinning
But it’s too late, the side effects are winning
All your friends surprised by your behavior
You’re not yourself tonight
Nauseous off the smell and flavor
You’re not sure if you’re gonna be alright
Mad about how much I didn’t care
But right now you really wish I was there
Scrolling through the contacts on your phone
You don’t care that I want to be left alone
Then your pride and self-esteem kicks in
And you turn off the screen and throw up again
