Outside of Heaven

Conversations with God about where to go from here
The other day I had a dream the end was near
Cops and civilians trying to decide who’s good and who’s bad
The media ruining whatever image you thought you had
Women with daddy issues saying it’s their world too
Men depending on their mothers saying that isn’t true
Making a scene over who’s going to pay for dinner
And who’s the housewife and who’s the breadwinner
Whites claiming blacks are the real racists
Meanwhile black girls lose men and jobs to women with lighter faces
Tax funded prisons full of people who just like smoking weed
Because we’d rather pay to ruin lives than help the ones in need
And we wonder why don’t feel blessed anymore
Wonder why when we call God always hits ignore
