In the middle of a three-cushioned couch
I’m found there alone often
Staring at a screen that plays daydreams
Along with a silence I’ve learned to call friend
Then there were your words
Poems about a life like mine
Full of landscapes and vivid colors
New daydreams for my mind
Poetry about a love absent to me too
A temporary change of scenery
A brief moment in some other time
A reality relatable but foreign to me
Left but a little less alone this time
Upon a new found revelation
That there’s someone familiar
With being true love’s exception
Great Poetry
This is wonderful; I love it! It’s very beautiful and well-written. Thanks so much for taking the time!
There is always something so comforting about not being alone.
You’re welcome. I’m really glad you liked it. And yeah, there is.
